Kate and Lily help Gwen's lad mark his second birthday



There was a celebrity gathering on Malibu beach over Memorial Day weekend in the US as British actress Kate Beckinsale and her daughter Lily helped Gwen Stefani celebrate her son Kingston's second birthday.

Mum and daughter, who were joined by Kate's director husband Len Wiseman, looked like they were having a whale of a time at the beach birthday bash. And at one point the London-born star, who seems to have taken a leaf out of new pal Victoria Beckham's style book, ended up racing her nine-year-old daughter over the sands in a pair of towering wedge sandals.

It was a family day out for proud mum Gwen, too. Her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale - with whom she's expecting her second child shortly - was also helping co-ordinate the festivities marking his son's big day.

Sopranos Star James Gandolfini Gets Married

James Gandolfini and fiancée Deborah Lin tied the knot Saturday in her hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii, a wedding guest confirms to people. "There was a nice big kiss at the end with both hands on the cheeks" as The Sopranos star and Lin officially became husband and wife, the guest tells people. "They looked great." As a group of their closest friends and family looked on, Gandolfini, 46, and Lin, a former model, 40, exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by white lilies and rhododendrons adorning every pew held at Central Union Church. Chris Brown Withdraws from Kids' Choice Awards

One choice the fans won't have at the Kids' Choice Awards on March 28? Voting for Chris Brown. Amid the controversy about Brown's nominations at the fun-loving show – the R&B singer who has been charged with assault and making criminal threats against his girlfriend Rihanna – has decided to withdraw his name from consideration, his spokesperson announced Wednesday. "Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song," says the statement.
